Title: Rigol MSO2000A-S with signal gen hacking

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the MSO2000A-S scopes with signal generator can also be hacked like described in this (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/rigol-mso2000-series-hacking/) topic? Does this hack also enable the function gen in an MSO2000A which doesn't come with the generator? Is the hardware any different between the MSO2000A and the MSO2000A-S?

To reply my own question: yes, this also works for the MSO2072A-S. Although the 300MHz key doesn't upgrade the bandwidth. The 200MHz key does everything it promises.

The rigup tool provides me with 4 keys: NSEH, NSER, NSEQ and NSFH. This (http://gotroot.ca/rigol/D2072A%20Unlocking%20Guide.pdf) document says the rigup tool should output these four keys: NSEH, NSER, NSEQ and NS8H. Is there a way to get the NS8H key?

Ok, I found what I did wrong: I used rigup 0.1 instead of 0.4. With the 300MHz key from the rigup 0.4 tool I have an MSO2302A-S now.
