Some cheap i2c/spi/serial sniffer?
« on: November 03, 2014, 07:42:44 am »
Hi,

I'm curious if there are any cheap logic analyzers that are usable out there that you could recommend?

It must be able to trace i2c, spi and normal serial. Other formats is a strong bonus.
Should be cheap.
Software gets bonus points if it does Mac.

It it was just for me I'd likely get a Saleae, but if I'm working on some project with ppl spread out over various locations, it would be nice if everyone could have a cheap thing to just get by. In this context, one Saleae would be 5-10 ones from ebay or ali.

Having burn marks from crap purchases from ali/ebay, I wonder if there's a specific gizmo anyone could recommend.

Thanks!
Marcus
