Hello,
I know each device has been discused. But mostly at launch period of each. So not much direct comparisons of both at current date perspective. I watched Dave's review of MSO5074. But it had early firmware. UI lags are rather annoying for me and I have no clue if that was/would be fixed in other fw versions. And so many aspects (bugs) were discussed earlier left unanswered.
Generally it looks for me like Rigol offered a super specs hardware (8 GSa/s (not any review of it), Spectrum analyzer (didn't found any review of it),...) but it left without propper implementation.
SDS2104X Plus, has bigger display, better responsivenes, more eye candy UI, firmware updates seems to come out regularly, but... less features, 2 GSa/s, much higher price.
Long story short, at first I was tended towards Rigol, then I saw Siglent, now I am lost :-//
P.S. by now I have Tektronix TDS3012B and Protek 1006. Just wanted to try something modern for a reasonable price.

Howardlong does a fair comparison here:

Note there at this time been a SDS2000X Plus firmware update that has addressed points bought up by Howard.
