Rigol MSO7054 Touchscreen Protector
« on: May 19, 2022, 12:28:37 pm »
Hello all,

I just recently purchased a Rigol MSO7054 oscilloscope and I'm happy with it but for one point.  As Dave mentioned in his unboxing video of the MSO7054 the screen is vastly reflective, which is an issue with my bench arrangement and lighting.  I either see myself, and I have a face made for radio, or the room lighting.

Has anyone tried any of the touchscreen oscilloscopes with a matte finish screen protector?  Just looking for some feedback on the issue.

Thanks.

Micsigs are shiny but they come with a matte screen protector in the box.  It's definitely a huge improvement when it's on.

I'd definitely try one if it bothers you, they're only about $10 and very easy to apply if you know the tricks.

(I hate shiny screens...)
