Please, Brain Fog Here On this question. Have looked in this Forum, Rigol descriptions, Google searches etc. Some of Rigol Equipment Has -AMZ2 included. Can not find what his indicates. Examples, Rigol DS1054Z-AMZ2, Rigol DSA815-TG-AMZ2 vs Rigol DS1054Z, Rigol DSA815-TG The test equipment can be listed for sale etc, with and without the -AMZ2 descripition. Price and specs seem the same. Thanks for any response. |

Hmmm. Well I found this out - if you search for Rigol DS1054Z-AMZ2 on Amazon it shows up just like that - Rigol DS1054Z-AMZ2 | 50 MHz Digital Oscilloscope with 4 Channels Plus 12 Mpts Memory, 1 GS/s Sampling Rate I found out that AMZ2 is this - Leverage Shares 2x Amazon ETP Securities A (AMZ2) https://www.investing.com/etfs/amz2-historical-data So all I can say about it at this point is that it's interesting. ??? |

It might just be a different part number and distribution channel so when asking for a price match, other sellers can say "That is a different model, we don't have to match that". Or the other way around so they can tell Amazon that Amazon has the lowest price without imposing restrictions on other sellers. I know it's common for consumer appliances like TVs to get unique part numbers for big retailers so they don't have to price match. |
