Tektronix THS3012 THS3014 THS3022 THS3024 Windows 10, Windows 11, x64 drivers

I recently got a THS3024 and accessing the console or running its software from Windows 10 and 11
was not possible because drivers were only available for old Windows versions.

The Scope has an internal FTDI chip converting USB<->RS232.
The old XP/Win 7 drivers provided by Tektronix are just the FTDI drivers but using Tektronix hardware identifiers

I took the modern x64 FTDI drivers, added Tektronix IDs and it worked.

For installation just run "install_3.cmd" on an elevated prompt (for this just open a cmd instance as admin)
For de-installation you can run FTDI CDMUninstallerGUI_v1.5.exe adding the corresponding Tektronix identifier ( VID & PID #s) from the ones mentioned before.

After driver installation and connecting the scope to the Windows 10/11 x64 PC you'll see the Tektronix THS3000
in the Device Manger as shown below.

Can it run under a Linux?

The ones uploaded here are just Windows 10/11 x64 drivers.
But having the hardware IDs mentioned before and following the FTDI instructions for Linux

it can be done.

First of all, Linux is not the name of a full system. This is a kernel only. Android is also Linux based.

There is a lot of scope software working both under GNU/Linux and under Android.

If that would be me, I would check scope manufacturer webpage and manual first. I don't have any Tek currently.

It is clearly indicated the posted drivers are Windows 10/11 x64.
You do not have a THS3000 but asked about Linux drivers
Now you are lecturing me on Linux and Android differences and
sent me to the manufacturer website to find scope software I do not need.

Are you trolling me or you just had a bad breakfast? ;-)
