I've found that UltraSigma is a steaming pile of fetid dingoes kidneys in terms of its development. In my particular case, I believe the issue is with the video driver. What I found was installing this in a VM solved the issue (due to a generic video driver/device) and enabled it to run but in the end, it was just better and easier to write my own software than trying to deal with that software turd. Also got this issue of timeout when trying to open Ultrascope from Ultrasigma. Initially, I was hopeful that this workaround would be able to fix things but no joy (for me but may help others. Rigol support have engaged with my email so if I get a successful resolution I will post an update for the benefit of those coming after me. |
