Hi,
I have recently acquired a piece of niche test Equipment. A Rohde & Schwarz CTS65 Digital Radio Tester for GSM and DECT. Yes, it was offered as defective, but it also was so cheap that I couldn't afford not to buy it.
I seems to boot just fine, but after displaying the options installed, it briefly shows and error, followed by the application restarting itself:
### System error in file '.\fsrc\\STU.c'
condition 'FALSE violated!'
I was unable to get a DOS prompt on the instrument itself, but I dumped the CF-Card contents and I found a log file (FATAL.ERR) there, containing:
Wed May 5 00:42:20 2021
V5.56 16.11.04
#### System error in file '.\fsrc\\STU.c', line# 757 ####
condition 'FALSE' violated!
String: 'TIMEOUT_IN_STU_TASK in Task State WAIT_FOR_DOWNLOAD_OK'
#### end of error protocol ####
Going though the stings of the main application, CTS.EXE, searching for the name of the .bin file (LHPROG.BIN) next to it, produces sting 'Link handler program file not found.' in close proximity. I think the application is uploading LHPROG.BIN into one of the MCUs, and times out while waiting for this firmware to report after launch.
Does anybody here have firmware for this instrument available, to rule out corruption of a very old CF-Card? Thanks a lot in advace!
Cheers!
