R&S CMU200 Practical Function Below 10 MHz
(1/1)
BabyRuth?:
I have been researching the CMU200 for a few weeks, scouring various forums, viewing all the YT vids and reading the R&S documentation. I'm interested in the device for the various measurement tools, such as RF power analysis, RF generator, AF generator/analyzer, etc. I have a separate spectrum analyzer with tracking so that part is not as important. My application is ham radio tinkering including HF.

Here are some capabilities I'd like to get clarification on from CMU200 users:

* Am I understanding correctly that the primary RF generator (RF1) and RF power meter (wideband mode) operate down to 100 kHz?
* When measuring RF power below 10 MHz, does the frequency counter still display with some level of accuracy, or at all?
* I understand that RF input power is reduced (2 W) when the additional RF generator option is fitted (option CMU-B96). Is it easy to remove this option if needed to restore the higher power capability (50 W)?
* Are there any other bonus functions that still operate below 10 MHz (at possibly reduced precision/performance) despite the datasheet?
Thanks in advance!
