R&S NMG202 feedback
« on: October 14, 2024, 05:03:26 pm »
Anyone have an NGM202 or NGM201 they would like to pass comment on?

Looking at replacing my Keithley 2281S-20-6 with an NGM202, specifically the bundle offer NGM-COM2B. The Keithley is OK, but it doesn't let you generate battery models. Well, it does, but only at a discharge of 1A. There looks to be software available for the NGM series to create battery models. The R&S is also two channel, so can simulate two batteries at once. This would also be handy for an upcoming project.

After a trawl around I've not found much online about the NGM series. Just a few write ups from around the launch in 2019/2020. So I'd be interested for any feedback from anyone who has one.

I did fill in the form on the R&S (UK) website for a quote. Zero response from that thus far, which is a little disappointing. It would be a company purchase.
