Hi all,
I have a RS PRO RSDS 1052DL+ Oscilloscope (rebranded Siglent) that freezes up at the boot logo, no relays click and the front USB doesn't initialise.
I've tried the repeated pressing of the Math button during power on but no luck.
It's no longer in warranty, are there any other options for recovering?

The Siglent SDS1052DL+ USB recovery package worked fine on this RS PRO rebrand and it kept RS PRO branding and also allowed for the latest Siglent firmware to be installed.
Another saved. :phew:

Hello guys.
I'm new to the forum and I have the same problem with my Oscilloscope RSDS1102CML+. The device was bought in December 2021 but because we are on ice breaker passenger ships we miss the container in Punta Arenas and we finally received in Reykjavik , one week ago ;D. When I press the power button the device stay on Boot Logo. I don't want to send it back to my office and then they will send to seller.....etc......etc, because maybe I will received again in 1 year ;D. Can I do something to make it work? Thank you for help.

Hi all,
I have a similar problem. The oscilloscope turns on and displays the RS logo. After a while, most of the keys turn dark but apart from that - nothing happens. It still displays the logo and doesn't react to any key presses.
I have tried a hardware reset by repeatedly pressing the Math button after turning the device on. Unfortunately it doesn't help (even after many tries).
How could I get the USB firmware reset tool?
Your help would be much appreciated.

Hangs on the splash screen, tried to do a hard reset according to the instructions on the forum, unfortunately it did not help.

This seems to be a bit of a theme, I'm afraid I have the same issue with an RSDS 1102CML+. I understand this is a rebranded Siglent, so I have tried the reboot/reset math button to no avail. I also tried uploading new firmware from USB but without being able to get past the boot screen I'm a bit stumped on how to access the files in the first place. :scared:

Hello, same with me! It is the second time this has happened.
First time, I send it back to seller and they fixed the scope.
Since this is a normal behaviour for this type of device, I would like to be able to repair it all alone, without waiting several days (or weeks) for the seller.
Can I have this recovery package, please?

Hello to everybody
I'm happy to read that the problem with my oscilloscope has solution.
In my case, I have a RSDS 1152CML+ (150 MHz) and it is brozen showing a screen with the RS PRO logo. I've tried the solution of the "Math button" but it didn't work.
I read in the forum that there is the posibility of reinstalling the software via USB or somethink like it. Please, don't hesitate to contact me and send me the files to try to fix the oscilloscope.

Hello everybody, my SIGLENT SDS1202X-E (buy it in december 2023) start up fine but any control doesn't works, several minutes later is working again.

Yes, you need to have that fixed. Check local codes but TT system, at least.

I used this oscilloscope in other place with earth connection and happens the same. :-BROKE

Well finally got to town and purchased an 8Gb usb drive. Not many places stock the 8Gb's. Did as instructed and I now have a working oscilloscope. Many thanks tautech you saved me time and money. :)

I have the same problem, but with a different device. I have an RSPro RSDS 1072CML+ which, as far as I know, is a rebadged Siglent SDS1072CML+. I read about the method using the 'Math' button but this did not fix the problem and my 'scope it still stuck on the boot logo. I also tried downloading firmware from Siglent and put it onto a clean 1GB flash drive. The 'scope read the flash drive but nothing changed. Is there a special firmware or software that I can put onto a USB flash drive to fix my 'scope ?

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my Siglent 1072 CML+ oscilloscope.
The oscilloscope had not been used for two years. Today, after turning it on, it stopped at the Siglent logo. It does not respond to any buttons, the USB port for communication with the computer does not work. You cannot reset using the Math function.
The oscilloscope was used for approximately 100 hours.
Please help.

Haha, I don't remember the actual price of the recovery itself but the shipping cost of sending it back and forth was actually the major part of it ::) (I trash the quote so I can't tell the detail)

Recovery can be done by you, when given the correct recovery package !

Thank you for the answer and I'm gonna ask that support asap!
I'll have to ask my boss on monday where he got the quote because I can't remember (it would be either the supplier or some repair company I guess - this thing has been sitting in a corner for over 6 months since that ...) but the thing is : I work in a school and since it's not personal/company money but public fund no one really care (it's just me who found paying for what looks like a software glitch ridiculous).
PS : I did try spamming the "math" button to no avail then saw that forum ^^

Ive also tried, on numerous occasions, to apply the Math button reset with no luck. The USB recovery package they provide should also install the latest firmware; V6.02.01.13
Check that it does.
