RuiDeng Riden RD6006P DC power supply

ceut:
Hello,
I have bought an RD-6006P, that I have just received today.
It is really a great PSU.
But 2 problems: one is the breathing led when it is shutted down.
And the other is a big one: it has overshooting problem  :-[ :-\

FW version is 1.40, so coming already with latest version.

Is someone has checked this ?
Is my unit has any problem ?
Maybe my simple setup to check this is not good ?
I have also a DPS5005 which has not this problem at all.

I have send a message to them on aliexpress with same photos (RD Official Store).

Here are the screen from my new DSO:

Is the hardware or software of the 6006P and 6012P so much different or why is it not planned?

I already have 4 models (6006, 6012, 6018, 6006P),
three of them are completely idle and just take up space.
I don’t want to invest in buying another one.
It is also time consuming.

Hello,
So after my post, I have found and install your custom firmware, and I find it great, so thank you!  :-+
I have read all the big "RD60xx Custom Firmware Reference.pdf" and have tried many settings.

But I have the same overshooting problem with this one too, like the one I have posted before.
After some searching, my thought is that it is probablly because the output is activated too fast.
Do you think you could add a menu for slowing down the rise of ouput with a timing setting ?

I have tried also the using of the green port with the GreenOutput option: it seems to be better, but randomly (I think the relay slows a little down the rise of the ouput).

Also: same overshoot behavior after a releasing a short of the red/black bananas.

Thank you !  8)

Edit: I have posted the video I have made for their support on Youtube:

Edit2: Here is my 3 years-old DPS5005 in comparison (I have sent to the RD support).
It is a lot slower, softer start, have more noise, but not a single overshoot.
And I can not notice the slow start when I use it  8)

Not,
In RD60xxP all power part controlled by another MCU...

ceut:
That is a very bad news  :-[ :-[
I have checked your schematics, it's the U8 part of the power part I think ?
And the main firmware is in the U8 flash memory of the control part ?

So I have to wait reply from RD...

Also, maybe you could check if you have overshooting on your model too ? ???
It will be great to know that, I could then compare with mine (if there is a hardware problem on mine  :-\  )

Yes, MCU STM8S003

The main firmware is in the U4 MCU STM32F103... (256KB Flash)
External Flash U8 used only for store the logo, nothing else.
