Hi to all,
bought this two devices from Ebay for 20€. Why? Because they look interesting and were cheap ::)
Until now I did not spent much time to figure out whats going on there. The DC load is fairly obvious. The HF-"scanner" looks like some distribution unit, that is capable of switching high voltages to devices under test, or other measurement units in the rack, in various ways. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't think it is worth the effort to reverse engineere the communication of the two units to remote control them. But even if not, there are many parts to keep. The power supply units, current shunt resistors, coaxial shielded reed relais (38 pieces), coaxial connectors, etc. . .
Especially the DC load gives you almost all to build your own electronic load or hack the thing.
