tek 680B 10X probe attentuation

Hi everyone, first post here. Since a few days i'm a happy owner of a tektronix 680b 1 Ghz scoop. A nice upgrade from my HP54503A.
The Hp came with 4 10x 500Mhz probes.  Since i never work with signals over a few hundred Khz, these will do fine.
But how do i tell the scope the probes are 10x? There are no options in the vertical menu and i can't find anything in the manual.
To me it seems only possible through the read out ring/pin. Pretty difficult to make something for that because there are several connections depending on the position of the pin. + and - 5v for active probes and several more connections.
Is there a solution for this ?

Welcome to the forum.

For Tek probes, each has a resistor specific to that probes attenuation that shunts a connection on the input of the scope to set the correct attenuation.
