I have recently purchased the Siglent SHS810. To try to record the scope I press "recorder" on front panel, press F2 for "Scope Recorder" then I get an error message that says "Recorder can only be used in Scan Mode". Now the problem is that the manual does not say how to get into "Scan Mode". Does anyone know how to do this.
The software version is 3.01.02.02R2, hardware version is 1-31-3.3.

Slow down the horizontal timebase. When it reaches a certain time/div., the scope recorder will become available.

Exactly.
SHS810 enters scan mode at a timebase setting of 100ms/div and a slow sweep will become visible.
In record mode 100ms/div will give 1.2 seconds of data per sweep.
To increase the internal record length a USB stick can be added.
For detailed analysis of the recorded data adjust the timebase to examine the points of interest.
From the datasheet:
Scope Recorder
Recording scope waveform continually in scan mode
Support recording, replay and zoom function
7M points memory depth,18 hours recording time
Maximum 4GB in USB storage mode, 3000hours recording time

Thanks, commongrounder AND tautech for the replys. Now it is working great. The instructions didn't specify how to get it into "scan mode" and I couldn't figure it out. Thanks Again!
