Tek 834 Serial Comms Tester - SERVICE manual?
« on: December 06, 2021, 04:53:54 am »
Picked up one of these to help in my adventures with VT100s, ASR33s and the retro-tech that goes with these.

The 834 came out at the start of the 80s, I have found user and training manuals at the usual archive sites, and there is one manual for a ROM pack that has schematics - so I feel that there may also have been a very helpful service manual.  But not at any of the usual places and my first few pages of search results are blank.

So, anyone aware of a Service Manual for the 834-835-836 series, or happen to have a copy??

Thanks in advance

If you can't find one anywhere else there is one listed on eBay in the US

Tektronix 070-3399-01
834 Data Communications Analyzer Service Manual
https://www.ebay.com/itm/363646166727

I have bought items from that seller in the past.

Got the paper copy.  Worth the cost for the time it saved, since unit was DoA.  But now is happy and working.

I have made scans and sent to ko4bb, BAMA and TekWiki.  or PM me if not find-able.
