SDG2042X - Triggering both channels at the same time in burst mode?
Plasmateur:
I'll be patient ;D
A bit of an update from me. I'm attempting to trigger both channels by sending SCIP commands via LabVIEW with no success as of yet.
I'm remaining hopeful this machine can do what I need it to do. When I set the trigger on both channels to internal while they are in burst mode, both channels are triggered non-stop at some internal frequency and I see each frequencies from each channel with their respective cycles on my oscilloscope. Getting closer to what I need it to do!
I'm not really sure of what point is of triggering a channel via internal trigger while in burst mode. Why would someone want to do this?

How should I go about communicating with them? Should I contact them as well, or do they reply to these type of threads?
Also I should probably apologize to the mods as I noticed this thread is dedicated to the SDG2042X:https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/the-siglent-sdg2042x-thread/
perhaps this one could be merged if it should be in there?

Steve has already copied me into an email he's sent to his techy Scott who should try to find a solution but that was late Friday so be patient. ;)
I like to think that your problem might be encountered by others so if a remedy is found this thread may be found by others and not kept private. Helps all. :)
As for the other thread; no worries, I've placed a post there with a link to this one just in case other owners come up with a novel solution for you.

Was there a final conclusion to this (reply from Siglent)?
