Hello All,
I was just about ready to pull the trigger on a SDS1104X-E or SDS1202X-E until I can across Dave's video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLcdZjFuho0&t=0s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLcdZjFuho0&t=0s)). Can someone who owns one of these scopes verify that the only data captured in single trigger mode is what's on the display? Meaning none of the history is used like in run mode. See the attached image from the video.
Thanks

I don't think that answers the OP's question. The question is: does pressing the 'single' button clear the history buffer? yes or no.
Based on Dave's video the answer seems to be 'yes' (the history buffer gets cleared) which circles back to an earlier discussion where it turns out Siglent is very trigger happy to clear the history buffer.
