SDS2304X control via VXI11
« on: April 15, 2018, 01:19:25 pm »
HI all
I recently purchased SDS2304X scope and for the life of me I can't figure out how to control this instrument via lan. I have tried every suggestion from the MFG'er, googling, etc. and still having issues.

If I install the EasyScopeX by itself, I can make the connection without any problem.
When I install NI runtime executable, still no issue.

When I install full blown NI-Visa, then everything stops working (100% followed instruction). two other instruments show up properly (SSA3032X and SDG2042X).

if I uninstall the full NI-Visa (full version), then I can get the EasyScopeX to work again.

However, when I try to use Python to program this device remotely, I can't connect to it.

I am wondering if I made a wrong choice on buying the 4 channel scope! my 2 channel Rigol works just fine:(

thanks
MG
