Need manuals (owner & service) for Sencore PA-81.
Thank you,
Chuck

Someone here has them. I have only the owner's manual. Lost the service manual. Sure it is in a storage moving box.
Be willing to pay to have high quality scan of the color pcb layouts and stuff.
In meantime I am familiar with it, having bought it in 1990.
Do you have the 5 kw load?

Adding the schematics to this thread for future use if anyone needs them.

I always wanted to copy the custom proms (eproms?) to files or spare chips in case they fade or die.
Are you familiar with a programmer and chip numbers for this unit? I have some programmers, etc, but was hoping you might have done that.
Of all my audio related gear, this is something I want to keep. It came out after I built a rack doing the same stuff, but not digital. (1978).
I got my idea from custom test gear built at Yamaha. I had attended a 3 day Yamaha factory service training course.
The instructor said theirs was designed by an in-house tech.
I switched to a PA-81 as soon as I saw it. (along with Sound Technology distortion analyzer and FM stereo generator).
