DDS 3x25 Power-up Problem
« on: March 23, 2015, 08:22:08 pm »
Hello,

I just got my hands on a Hantek DDS 3x25 arbitrary waveform generator. Unfortunately, I am seeing that when I plug the USB cable into the unit and it powers on, the AWG output swings to +3.5V for a short time, and briefly swings negative as well (to about -1.1V). You can see this in the attached image from a scope set up in persistence mode. Note that I am not using the auxiliary 5V DC input.

Anyone else seen this issue and/or have a fix?

Thanks!

Power on/off glitching is far from being unheard of in function generators. So it's probably not faulty.

Just by the way, I think you attached the wrong picture ; I can't see anything on it.
Oh, now I get it.
