Hello, it's been a while since I posted on here. Since then I got a new job.
I recently went to an electronics show at the NEC in Birmingham and came across a stand with a bloke who appeared to be operating out of a garage and was selling these OWON products (see attachments - apologies for the crap quality, bloody potato phone camera!).
They do a 7" touch screen 4 channel scope for £200-£300, and they do a 2-channel sig-gen and "field-scope" (Can't recall the prices)
Cos we'd be buying in bulk, the prices came down per unit. I did have a play with the scope and the screen was nice and big with pretty good resolution, but the touch screen was a little flaky, but that could have been my fat hands, and it also seemed a little redundant; most of the function buttons on the side of the screen did the same as the touch and some functions when accessed by the touch screen lead to operations using the user buttons and vice versa. This made it more of a gimmick than a feature. It had all the things you'd expect from a modern scope! Maths function, cursor's, trace capture and storage, etc, but no USB support (i think) and no serial data trace recognition.
anyway I never hear of them. anyone got one?
