« on: February 28, 2025, 10:03:32 am »
2 models it seems ....

The SMM3000X series is a precise source/measure unit (SMU) instrument that can simultaneously source and measure voltage and current. It integrates current source, voltage source, voltmeter, and ammeter functions, and is particularly suitable for semiconductor feature analysis, nanoscale devices and materials, organic semiconductors and other test applications.

Key Features
6½ display digits (2,100,000 count)
100,000 points/s maximum acquisition rate
10fA / 100nV minimum programming and measurement resolution
±210V / ±3A(DC) /±10.5A(pulsed) Maximum output
Supports DC, pulse, scan and list output, minimum pulse width 50μs
5-inch touch screen with graphical and numerical views

Features and Benefits
Webserver
5-inch true color TFT-LCD large screen display, resolution 800*480,
with touch screen and new UI interaction, graphic and digital view mode
10 fA / 100 nV minimum output and measurement resolution
6½ display resolution (2,100,000 count)
Maximum sampling rate 100ksps, 0.0005 PLC sampling interval, maximum
100 PLC
Minimum trigger interval 10 μs
Up to 100k points of internal storage space, support time stamp
Four-quadrant precision power output (single/dual channel) and measurement
Up to ±210 V DC voltage, ±3 A DC current/±10.5 A pulse
Five basic modes: voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter or resistance meter
Support DC, pulse, sweep and list output
The minimum pulse width of pulse output can reach 50 μs
Arbitrary waveform generation and list sweep function (minimum 10 μs interval)
Two-wire measurement/four-wire measurement, Delta low resistance test method,
Effectively compensate for measurement errors caused by thermal electromotive force
Support standard SCPI remote control commands
Output filter time constant can be set to achieve different frequency response outputs, maximum
5ms
Configuration interface: USB Device (optional USB-GPIB adapter),
USB Host, LAN

This is interesting, mentioned to Rob a few years ago Siglent should consider a SMU ;)

Dual SMU will likely be north of $6K.

Wonder how it will compare to the GW Instek??

Best

Yes we spoke about it how it would be nice. Apparently Siglent listens...

I think it is too early to say anything about anything. Nobody saw it yet, and there might even be market differentiations if/when it comes to the west.
There is only datasheet in Chinese and that one is V. 1.0.0.0.  ;D
It is part of "serious instruments" line and price will be in line with that. I doubt it will be hobby purchase..

Everything else is too early to even speculate...
