Don't tell me you looked at that screenshot and said "Wow!" and what's with the silly text? And that table of peaks? Ew! |
| KungFuJosh:
My first impression when I saw this screenshot was mediocre graphics with 20 year old gradient designs; somehow both pixelated and unclear; plus wasted real estate for bad Rigol logos. 2004 is calling, they want their lame tab designs back. |

I much prefer the Siglent UI. Don't get me wrong: For what I paid for the DHO on the BF sale, it's a helluva bargain and I'm not disappointed in it at all. But if/when Siglent releases their 1000HD series at a price point approaching the DHO1000 (MSRP, even), I'll most likely sell the DHO and buy the Siglent. |

The main reason why I will not consider buying Rigol DHO is the interface. And today's images of Siglent only convinced me of this idea. Silent, strict and laconic Siglent. Can I reconsider my opinion, but for now I associate the entire style of the DHO interface with this screenshot. And this is unbearable for me. |

You can argue about the color gradients but there's no excuse for the pixelated fonts. The text readability on the Rigol is awesome. The windows are really useful. |
