Whether Siglent Europe, Siglent North America, Siglent International...
For weeks now, their pages have been loading very slowly and I can't get a single document downloaded. :(

I noticed this a few weeks ago when I wanted to download documents for my SSG3032X.

Sorry for your connection problems but I got everything from Siglent at full speed, a manual in one second (ok fiber connection 1 Gb).

I have 100Mbit, which is usually enough.
Could you possibly upload the documents to Google Drive?

When's the last time you rebooted your modem/router? If that doesn't fix it, your ISP is messing with you.

I currently have a consistent download speed of 102Mbit/s and all pages load quickly.
Only Siglent's don't.

Tested.
128 MB = 1 min 30 from Siglent HQ FW download webpages.

Local speed test displays 80 Mbps sustained.

Hello SDG user,

I have now successfully extended my SDG to 500MHz. Then I did a few measurements for 500MHz, see pictures. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Setup:

Siglent SDG6022x => SDG6052x
Oscilliscope:   Rohde & Schwarz RTB2004 (300MHz)
Frequency counter:   Tektronix FCA3000
Spectrum analyzer:   Rohde & Schwarz FPL1000
Cable:   Huber & Suhner Sucotest ST18/SMAm/SMAm/36
Termination:   50Ohm

Have a nice day
Detlev

You got PM.
Thanks again to Bad Driver!

I measured the risetime today, first with the BMO350, then it occurred to me that the scope has 350Mhz bandwidth.
Then again with my SDS3104X HD, the risetime dropped a bit.

Hello,

If the BMO350 has 1 ns rise time and the SDS3104X HD has 0.4 ns rise time and the SDG6000X has 2 ns rise time, the result is very plausible.
Because 1*1 + 2*2 = 5 and the square root of 5 is about 2.24.
And 0.4*0.4 * 2*2 = 4.16 and the square root of 4.16 is about 2.04
In pulse mode you can get a rise time of 1 ns. Then the BMO350 should show a rise time of about 1.4 ns and the SDS3104X HD should show a rise time of about 1 ns.

That is the key.

Edges can be set to faster rise/fall time in Pulse than in Squarewave mode where they have fixed rise/fall time.
Edges are cca. 900-950 ps fastest.

Yes, that's right.
Here is a picture of it, I deliberately “stopped” it because the signal developed a “life of its own”(if you choose a 1ns risetime) and the measured values varied between 0.8 and 1.3 ns.
