Siglent SDM3045X Boot Hang

Yeah, the firmware / GUI is quirky in places. But that comes with the price point i guess.
I've had the meter on all day and seems much more stable now in use, but time will tell.
Got one of their scopes too, pretty good value for the money given the performance.

This "boot hang" story, does this only affect older models, or, models that do not have the latest firmware ?
Our four SDM3045X will arrive next week and I expect them to work without problems for years.

On receipt check their firmware is latest.
Boot freeze was supposedly fixed with the firmware version before current however I have reports from users this was not always the case. 

Specifically from FW 7R1 this how the fix is described in the release notes:
2. Optimize flash R&W design.

V5.01.01.09R2 is the latest.

I haven't had a single issue with the SDM3055X-E latest firmware. 😉😉

SDM3065X was the last released in this series back in 2017 and those that have never kept up with FW releases don't have the better NAND management SW installed.

As I've advised before, keep FW up to date.

I had the same issue with my SDM3045X, however I somehow got out of the bootloop by doing the following:
1. Switch off the power supply (or unplug the power cable)
2. Press the on/off button and keep it pressed while switching on the power supply

After this it would boot up and I could install the latest firmware.

I bought the SDM3045X at the end of December 2022. Yesterday, when I turned it on, I encountered a similar problem - the logo is displayed on a black background and that’s it. The warranty was one year.

Thank you tautech for your prompt assistance in solving this problem. I did everything according to the instructions sent. I took an old 1GB flash drive and formatted it in FAT32 (cluster size 4kb). I checked that the partition was active and copied the contents of the archive to the root of the disk. After recovery, I updated the firmware to version V5.01.01.09R2

The warranty was one year.

Siglent's warranty on these is 3 years.

Looks like I've ran into the same issue with my 3045X.  The logo is displayed on a black background and the meter doesn't progress beyond it. I'm of the mind that if ain't broken don't fix it so I've never upgraded firmware on it.  How can I get it to working state again?

I've got two SDM3045X, one freezes when pushing any key on the keypad, the other is stuck on boot logo. can't flash because the usb key isn't showing up (tried different, 2Go FAT32 keys), can't use sd card either to flash as it isn't populated on the board.
