| Siglent SDM3065X Multimeter won't boot. |

Hello! I hope this is the right place to post this. I bought a Siglent SDM3065X in September of 2020. I had to put it away for a while. It was sitting upright (on its back "feet") on the floor behind a desk. Out of the way. Recently it was time to put it back to work. It gets to the initial boot splash screen and doesn't go any farther into the boot process. It has not been hacked or modded in any way. It just sat back there and collected a little dust. I have searched online for a way to do a reset, but it has to be running to do so. I can't find any factory reset from boot. I wanted to in the hope that maybe some out-of-range data is hanging it. I can't afford to send it in for repair in the foreseeable future. Any ideas? Any help appreciated! |

Have you tried unplugging the usb flash drive, if you have one installed. I believe you can hold down one of the buttons during power on to force a reset, I could be remembering that wrong though, it isn’t something I’ve had to do. Might also be worth checking that the usb port didn’t have anything drop into it and short out the connections. |

Pop me a PM with your email and we'll fix it up and get the latest firmware in it. |
