Siglent SDS1152CML forgetting language settings
« on: December 19, 2024, 05:01:37 pm »
Hi,
I just got a brand new Siglent SDS 1152CML for very little money, the poweroncounter showed 4 when I turned it on.
It may be a bit older but it was cheap and I think it should be as good as today's absolute low entry scopes like Hanmatek, Fnirsi etc.
The only annoying thing is that the scope forgets the language setting after turning it off.
In another thread about the 1102cml on this forum I found a cfg file that should fix this problem but the scope reports a mismatched file
Is there anyone here who has a matching cfg file?

my scope is the sds1152cml without the (+)
As soon as i know, the difference between the nonplus an the plus models is a better screenresolution and the networkabillity ?

Update and configuration completed!
The scope definitely works faster now, the automatic mode feels twice as fast as before. The annoying language setting when switching on is gone.
A good, completely new, high-quality scope for me for less money than the cheapest entry-level scope.
Thank you very much tautech for your quick and competent help!

You both understand that the CFG tautech attached was the same that you had already tried, right?  :D

If you updated the FW, that was the real solution to the problem.

Glad all solved.
