Hello,
Is there SDS200X owners that have used sigrok?
My question is: Does it support digital channel acquition of logic channels over USB ?
Maybe it's my bad english but i don't know if they say on sigrok wiki that there is old version of SDS2000X that doesn't support digital channels capture from sigrok. Or do they mean that SDS2000X is old serie that doesn't support digital channel capture.
This quote is from sigrok wiki:
"The older series SDS2000X Logic Analyzer function does not support acquisition of the LA channels over VXI or USB. Due to flash memory program limitations the code for this function does not fit. Its not clear if newer "E" scopes will come functionality for the SDS2000 series scopes."

And yes, I'm about to purchase SDS2000X model scope ::)

If you have a github account, I suggest you open an "issue" with marchelh's libsigrok fork: https://github.com/marchelh/libsigrok/issues
He's the one who added support for the scope series and also wrote the wiki page that you're refering to. I agree by the way, the wording could be clearer.

WRT Sigrok.
From a contact in Siglent:
- Our current scopes only return Analog Channel data
- The 1X, 2, and 2X all work with Sigrok (but only Analog)
- Soon, we hope the 4 channel XEs will be able to return digital data, too
