As posted before, EasyWaveX is a bit buggy.  The first screen shot below shows one example of the equation editor used to produce an AM signal.  Note the number of samples: sometimes this is greyed out? for this particular generator (SAG1021) and sometimes the sample number changes to that shown when the SAG1021 model is selected.  Selecting other AWGs such as the SDG2000 allows larger samples such as 65536.

In any case, it works and is useful.  Screenimg1 below shows an AM signal from the SAG1021 compared to an AM signal produced by a SDG2000.  Screenimg(x) shows that the SDG2000 signal is cleaner.

Shown is a TLV3501 high speed comparator module ordered from eBay for less than 10$.  A more expensive one was ordered from Amazon but was DOA.

This inexpensive accessory can be powered by the oscilloscope and extends the usefulness of the built in AWG (up to 25 MHz).  For the shots shown, an SDG 2122X set for 200 mVpp sine output was used.

Now I need a 500 MHz BW scope to better see the 100 MHz wave. :scared:

Do you have a link to the module?

Time to liberate your scope. 😉

Hello all,

I have an opportunity to get a used SDS2104X-HD but I ask me some question before to decide.
It is sold in very good condition, but without the logic probe included.
So I will need to spend 500€ more to get it.
So the first question is what would be is a fair price for the unit ?

I also seen that comparing to the SDS2104X+, the waveform update rate with logical probe signals is drastically low.
Does this issues has been confirmed here ?
If yes, does it has been solved in newer firmware revision ?

I thank you in advance answers from owners of the beast !
Regards.
