Siglent SDS2000X Plus - Bugs / Missing Features / Feature Requests
Antonio90:
I might, but this kind of sales rarely turn into a better offer than getting the scope without VAT.
hpw:
As using latest given FW.
Now getting repeated DSO hangings as saving a BIN file to external USB Stick. Error checking the USB did not showed any errors. :palm:
Is this known? Or any chance to the the upcoming FW?
Some more about the culprit:
- I set the probe as 0.10 as 20dB gain given from the amplifier.... and this causes to crash after certain samples. This means, NOT fully written 1Gs & 100M-samples and as stopped on 5% indication.
In other situation it looks as OK, even 0.1 probe value. So may a math issue :-DD
- Setting the probe as 1:1 works
Update:
Getting repeated hangup's, I used FFT & 4x AVG as always on and C2 channel as Hide & 10ms & 1G/s to save 100M samples to a folder on the USB stick.
What works now after:
- Formatted 16G USB stick on Win10 as 4k & FAT32
- Did a DSO calibration
- Saved now to any folders using C2 channel on as 0.1x probe settings (gain of amplifier) and FFT OFF

Has anyone seen documentation for the new "Serial Signal Test"?
--- Quote ---3/28/2024 1.6.2R1
1. Added new Analysis function: Serial Signal Test (Analysis | Serial Signal Test)
2 .Optimized UI
3. Supported USB-GPIB adapter
4. Fixed several bugs
a) "Bended" / "tilted" trace at small V/div
b) Math: Filter sample rate adaption cannot work
c) Frequency / Period measurements fail on certain waveforms
--- End quote ---

Not in the doc yet AFAIK...
That is brand spanking new feature right from the oven.....
I don't have SDS2000X+.
What protocols are supported : I2C and SPI ?
