Have a new Siglent SDS2104X Plus scope. Working fine, kind of. Have the latest release of the firmware (v 1.5.22R1) At first the Trigger Level was displayed on screen, but then disappeared. Reloaded the firmware, but still no Trigger Level display. Anyone else seen this issue? Fixes? Not even sure the trigger level is working correctly. Doing nothing out of the ordinary, just viewing analog waveform.Trigger is setup to use the correct channel. Plenty of signal. Also, pressing the Trigger Level control, does not center the Trigger Level in the center of the waveform all the time. Thank you, jdata |

By chance have you selected Trigger AC coupling ? If so it is normal for the level indicator to not be shown. When it has you bluffed at any time while you're getting to know it pressing Default can wipe most settings and get you back to square 1. |

This happens on the SDS1000X-E series too so I guess it is a "feature" not a bug?? My only question would be why? :-// |

Yes, I did have the Trigger in AC Input. Changing it to DC did bring back the Trigger Level display. For a few minutes, the trigger did not display correctly, but then seems to be working as expected. When not working, after centering the Trigger Level by pressing the TL knob and then adjusting the level manually, had incorrect trigger on waveform display. It may manifest itself when the Channel waveform is not in its default diplay position. (For this experiment of the scope, I was using the bult-in AWG with a simple 1 kHz Sine wave). After all is said, it is working; however, I agree with BillyO, why does DC Coupling not behave properly? Looking forward to the next firmware release. Thank you jdata |
