Did you actually look at the python script? From what I saw at a quick glance, it is just sending SCPI commands to change trigger type at a rate of about 1Hz. If that crashing the scope, then there is a firmware bug. |

I just assumed the code shown was just a test snippet. I also didn't understand the relevance of the included xml file, so was worried I was missing something. Even so, nothing warranted those responses. |

The video shows, that the trigger fails! In auto mode and normal mode. Havent figured out what exactly caused this. That script syncrinizes (if it works out) trigger settings, because that is something, what really annoys me, when the level for example is different, when you choose another trigger type and have *almost" everything else set up right. Yes, one may work out for themself, to look at all settings, but its still a bloody huge distraction. Ps. I got another neat script written. Posting is coming ;-) |
