I’m more interested in EMC/EMI pre-compliance related features for an actual paying project. I noticed that Siglent NA lists a SHA850-EMI unlock option for these units but this is completely unmentioned in the data sheet. Does anyone know more? Is this a new addition to the software? --- End quote --- Good catch. :-+ Older pricelists don't show the EMI option yet the latest does. Will report --- Quote ---Does it contain the same features as the other less-portable units? --- End quote --- More. Additional traces. GPS & Maps < which need be PC downloaded, created and installed. --- Quote ---Any other “gotchas” to think about comparing these units to something more desktop - say the SSA3000X Plus? --- End quote --- The Source option is TG which with SSA/SVA models is free. UI is very different to SSA/SVA models yet quite capable. I have the 7.5 GHz model so if there's more you need know I can demonstrate when time allows. |

Thanks for the reply! It really does look like quite a neat unit. I have a UK distributor who will rent them so might trail first... I also noticed the RTSA variant in this thread. Looks a fantastic little unit - higher bandwidth real-time mode than even the SSA5000A if my reading of Siglent China webiste is to be believed! Any idea when the 860A model is coming to the west...? |
