Title: Siglent SPD3303X-E Lockups
Post by: gussy on December 30, 2020, 06:49:26 am
I couldn't find any recently threads on this power supply so here's a new thread.

Recently, after about 4 days of being powered on, the front panel UI and display on my SPD3303X-E completely froze up. I took a video but there's not much to it, just me pushing every button on the front panel and nothing happening. The outputs were still on and working fine, at least my DUT didn't die. Obviously turning it off and on again fixed the issue :-//

Does anyone know if this is a known issue, or something anyone has seen before? I'd consider sending the unit back to Siglent or at least shooting them an email, but I also just recently "upgraded" this power supply (yes I know, I very likely caused the lockup).

Can you be sure you didn't press the Lock feature ?

There's a lock feature? :-DD

It's definitely possible, although the V/I readings weren't updating and they normally bounce around a lot with this DUT. I looked at the video I took again and there's no lock icon on screen.

I can confirm it does lockup every once and awhile and has to be rebooted... its.. an annoyance
