Siglent SSA3021X Plus EMI Standard levels issue
vespaman:
So shall start to say that I am a newbie when it comes to the Siglent (just got it!), and forgotten much when it comes to using a spectrum analyzer in general. :)
My problem is that I want to activate one of the Standard Limit for conducted emission, namely the 55032 (COND CLASSB AMN AVG). So I load it from the file system into e.g. limit 1.
(I am running in EMI Mode).
But:- instead of the limit starting at around 60dBuV, it is way up at 163dBuV, out of sight, so to speak.
I realize I must have missed something, but... what?
Maybe someone else has had this problem, or know exactly what I am missing?
vespaman:
Turns out this is known issue, and a FW fix is due shortly.

have you seen this video
https://youtu.be/M_57a7WzHCQ
i just dialed in the emi levels manually
I am sure you can save the lines, and recall later when needed
that ONE day at EMC lab we saved so much lab time using the Siglent, the saved time = money,
was about halve of the cost the SSA to put things into perspective :-)

So in my case it is the plus. I have not upgraded to the latest FW, since according to support, the issue is still there. But there's a new FW "coming soon".
I can, of course dial the standards in myself, but I managed without it for now. Next time I'll do some tests, hopefully the new FW is out. Just wanted to give this feedback if someone also had this issue.
