Typically I have always preferred the Siglent line over Rigol (no real reason other than symmetry of gear), but I am leaning toward picking up a new DSG821. Mostly because of the compact size and portability of the DSG800 series. There is a good chance I would need to take this to some of my remote work sites and that is an extremely attractive feature. I have read over a few of the threads, it seems most kind of prefer the DSG800 over the SSG3000X, just looking to see if this is still the case.

Depends on needs......output levels and/or frequency capabilities.....checks notes....easy hack to 3.2 GHz.

Honestly 1.5GHz and +13dBm will handle 99% of what I need. Both I know have the ability for some user freq expansion.
