Hi all. I haven't programmed in decades, and then in Fortran. I have the keygen source from the link. I downloaded and installed Python. I ran Python and Idle. I opened the keygen file in Idle. I ran it as is and it gives some keys, all be them wrong. I gather I need to get the SCOPEID from the instrument itself. I don't have one yet. I gave SCOPEID a dummy value (123456789) in the program. I copied the correct model from the list of four and pasted that into the program. I ran the program again and it gives me different keys, as expected. Is that correct? It seems pretty straightforward. I am interested in the DMA, digital modulation analysis. I dabble in digital amateur TV DATV, mainly DVB-T. And trying to understand digital modulation from a course I did 40 years ago. Particularly eye and constellation diagrams. Regards Drew VK4ZXI |
