--- Quote ---Show me this SCPI result: MD5_PR? Nonetheless, why are you trying to achieve 200 MHz if you already bought a 200 MHz machine? ? :-// I think the starting language cannot be changed, unless we patch the FW. --- End quote --- Not sure how to run SCPI commands yet. I'm unable to connect using EasyScopeX. Port scanning shows only 111 and 719 open (and 23/22 now that I have telnetd and dropbear running). No port 5024 or 5025 to telnet to. I was seeing if this scope could achieve more than 200MHz. I've seen some threads where removing a cap in the analog section would uncap the bandwidth. I found the SCDP utility. It connects and the title bar shows "[SCDP] Siglent,SDS1202F+,SDS1MCB4165473,6.02.01.07". Not sure if that's what you need or helps. The SCDP app throws a System.NullReferenceException error after connecting and when trying refresh. |

--- Quote from: PiXEL8 on August 30, 2020, 04:52:45 pm ---I recently acquired an SDS1202F+, it's a china only version of the SDS1202DL+ --- End quote --- I don't agree. F+ models have 1 GSa/s and mostly 1 Mpts memory while the 200 MHz version has just 32 Kpts which makes these some Chinese hybrid that we've never seen in the west. They don't match up with: SDS1kCNL SDS1kCML SDS1kCFL SDS1kDL Or any of the later Plus versions. |

They don't match up with: SDS1kCNL SDS1kCML Siglent official main side oscilloscope select list SDS1kCFL SDS1kDL Or any of the later Plus versions. --- End quote --- SDS1202F+ 200MHz 2通道 500MSa/s(Max.) 32Kpts 7英寸(800*480)彩色显示屏 But it is really bit confusing here due to also some "web shop" versions like example X-C models (aka Cheap E models) Or like top model SDS 6000 Pro Even they specs looks quite same. 1202F+ is "web shop version" as Google bit fun translate it: "E-commerce SHOP Monopoly" But SDS1202DL+ is normal Siglent distribution model. This is whole mess here. If look Siglent factory official web sides SDS1000CNL+/DL+ SDS1102CNL+ 100 MHz 2 + EXT 1 GSa/s - 40 Kpts E-commerce Monopoly SDS1102DL+ 100 MHz 2 + EXT 500 MSa/s - 32 Kpts E-commerce Monopoly SDS1202DL+ 200 MHz 2 + EXT 500 MSa/s - 32 Kpts ¥3,180 (siglent side 0 VAT prices) ------------------------------------ SDS1000E+/F+ SDS1202F+ 200 MHz 2 + EXT 500 MSa/s - 32 Kpts E-commerce SHOP Monopoly SDS1122E+ 120 MHz 2 + EXT 1 GSa/s - 1 Mpts E-commerce SHOP Monopoly Taobao/TMALL both models same seller and it is not more but "siglent Dingyang flagship store" SDS1202F+ ¥ 2328 SDS1202DL+ ¥ 3380 Who believe they are same model and only other is chinese version and other not. Difficult to believe when look price difference. Same seller sell these bot just to domestic mainland market area. ETA: After reading both data sheets (bit tricky to get from Siglent sides documents side due to 404 if try F+ data sheet, but it is there when use other route via model info side...) I can not see any difference in data sheet between 1202DL+ and 1202F+ except F+ can select only Chinese and DL+ have whole set of languages. Of course also F+ do not have normal overseas warranty. Language is expensive........ If look example SDS1000X-E and X-C X-C is clearly more cheap "web shop" version. Not even priced in official sides. They are roughly same functionally. But C version wfm/s and Sequence mode speed is roughly half. Perhaps also there can find some differences in specs between 200MHz DL+ and F+. 1000E+ is 1GSa/s model. with 1M memory but there is 120MHz version. It is priced in TMALL same seller as ¥ 1780.00 But fun is that SDS1102X-C price is ¥ 1588.00 and guess what... it is just like half wfm/s speed SDS1102X-E (this is not in overseas markets) with 1Gsa/s and 14M memory and perhaps it is.... we know overseas model SDS1202X-E... and 1202X-C is ¥ 2760.00 if compare to 1102X-C only diff is BW MHz but is is soft or HW made... try guess. 1104X-C is ¥3780 and then 1104X-E is ¥ 5280 wfm speed difference and language (including chinese taxes) And I can imagine wfm/s speed is not half with all mem depths and time scales. Perhaps with some speed difference is less. What is internal reason for slower speed I do not want even guess. But even if it is not possible and 200MHz is not absolute go - no go question then compared to SDS1202F+ other ways this is light year ahead if this old generation F+. They are like night and day. And in some images it even looks like this X-C have also international languages but advertisement images are some times as they are...Perhaps some have used X-E images. Data sheet tell UI is only Chinese language. But as we know in this series peoples have done many nice things with serial terminal. If I am buying in China which one I select SDS1202F+ or SDS1102X-C. No need think even one second if out from box 200MHz BW is not absolute game end factor. Modifying DL+/F+ models are perhaps bit more or much more tricky than more modern models due to OS and HW. |

--- Quote from: rf-loop on August 31, 2020, 02:48:38 am ---Or like top model SDS 6000 Pro...... --- End quote --- But the 6k Pro will make it to the west but in LeCroy clothes. Later we may see it in an 8 bit version when 5kX requires a face lift. |
