Title: SIGROK - recognizs clone 8bit Saelea logic analyzer but...
Post by: IconicPCB on August 31, 2022, 07:36:09 am
OK.. Trying to get Sigrok to run and support the clone hardware.
It is loaded and runs ...sort of.

Trying to select the Saelea hardware does not work. in the drop down menu it shows the demo and happily runs through the show.
Jus below the demo option is the entry for Saeleae clone. Selecting Saeleae results in a general error.

I am running linux ubuntu 22,04

I promise to wear rubber gloves if you promise to hold my hand with the view to resolving this problem ( it has to be something simple... and stupid... my specialty )

Thanks for your posting.
At this point ( displayed in your image  ) when i select the same driver and press the scan button .... nothing comes up.

I have swapped out the USB cable and still no equipment selected/enabled.

I will try jockeying the USB port to see if that may be at fault.

Have you installed the USB driver?
Not the Saleae one!
See this page https://sigrok.org/wiki/Windows#Drivers
Check what driver appears in Hardware manager.

Under Linux I don;t believe a driver is required.
Macs I have no idea.
