Title: Simpson 77-380 Wavemeter
Post by: Bud on August 22, 2015, 02:33:21 am
I am guilty I forgot about this jewel I bought about 10 years ago at a hamfest. Time to show it to the world.

Solid metal cast case, reasonably heavy, the dial feels tight and nice, no wiggle or backslash, beautiful piece of engineering. Not your Dad's meter,  your Dad Dad's meter!

This is amazing that being designed for Ham radio, the meter was actually calibrated - note the calibration coil cards.

See what the slogan says below Simson's logo in the last attached picture?   I am going to validate that claim
 :)
