SMB Settings for DHO814 fail to connect

I'm trying to connect to a Samba share on my network from my DHO814 but it fails with "Connection Terminated".

Proceedure: Settings -> Storage -> SMB Settings

I've tried:
/server_IP_address/share
//server_IP_address/share

I've confirmed username/password are correct.

But neither works. I wanted to try a backslash "\" but its not available with the onscreen keyboard.

I've tested the share using other computers on my network and they connect perfectly.

Any suggestions please?
