I can not be totally sure, but I think that the input stages are the same in both versions (except for 50ohm and associated relay).

Someone can take a better picture of the input stage for the HW.v2.0?

Then it seems even more illogical that they didn't sell a 300MHz version DS2000 a year and a half ago - unless it was only because of the lack of 50 Ohm input.

EDIT: BTW, the image you posted is only HW v.2 - we don't know for certain that A-models don't have a slightly more-modified input stage.

True, It seems that there are more changes between version 2 and 1.

Someone can take a better picture of the DS2xxxA's input stage?    Apelly for example.
