I think it's unlikely. It's a standard feature on new A-models (and so one of their new selling points vs. non-A models), so it I doubt it would ever be sold as an 'option' specifically for HW v.2 non-A owners - thus no key. But perhaps the FW can be patched to enable it.

I agree, but also wonder what the difference is between the A and non-A models so that the 50 Ohm works on the A but not on the non-A 2.0 hardware. Maybe it is as simple as the model number?

It could be... changing the model number of the DSOs was all was that required to enable the different BW settings on non-A models. OTOH, as zombie28 pointed out, Rigol has changed a few things to 'enhance' security on the A-models - although that might be irrelevant in this case.

It would be interesting to see what they did to enhance the security, because both A and non-A run on the same firmware, and my non-A still responds to the 'old' keys. Maybe the 2 things are related and it is based on the model number.
