Title: Standard Research SR760 FFT Spectrum Analyzer - CRT Sync Issue
Post by: laceypaul on February 11, 2021, 08:01:35 pm
I have a SR760 FFT Spectrum Analyzer.  Once warmed up all is good, but for the first 5 minutes or so, the CRT display has a sync issue.  Standard Research have not been very helpful with circuit diagrams etc. so wondered if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks

Paul

Check for dried out electrolytic capacitors in the monitor module.

Freeze / cold spray is a good tool for finding which part is the cullprit. Many times the problem is in electrolytics going bad but not necessarily.
