Title: Suggestion for dual output power supply, 0-15V, 5A minimum on both channels
Post by: uoficowboy on April 22, 2015, 01:11:35 am
I need to grab one or two dual output power supplies for work. They need to be modern and reliable. 15V, 5A out is a minimum. I'd rather see more like 30V, 10A out. Volume is a major concern. Banana jacks on the front are required.

Currently we're using the Keysight U8031A (http://www.keysight.com/en/pd-2054544-pn-U8031A/triple-output-dc-power-supply-30v-6a-2x-375w?cc=KE&lc=eng). They're... OK. They're a bit loud and the internal build quality is not what I expect from Agilent, so I don't really think it'll last forever. Does anybody have a better suggestion? Reliability is key here, so I'm very nervous about the various Asian brands that are popular. Budget is $1500ish each.

TTi do some nice supplies with those specs:

They're absolutely bomb proof as well.
