tektronix tcpa300+tcp303 on fluke 190-204
« on: October 15, 2019, 12:17:14 am »
Dear all..

Long ago I bought a used tektronix tcpa300+tcp303 current probe for around USD500 but never really use it and left it in storage in my house in other city. Now, I bought a used fluke 190-204 and need current probe for some testing.

Can I use tektronix tcpa300+tcp303 on fluke 190-204 and get a good reading ?

My other concern is current probe sensitifity in fluke 190-204 in the range of 1, 10, 100, 400 mV/A, but the tcp303 is in the range of 5A/V and 50A/V.
Does it mean 200mV/A and 20mV/A in fluke ?
can I use 6dB attenuator to make it 100mV/A dan 10mV/A (I'am not really sure about this suggestion) and still got a good reading ? is there any better sollution?

Please help, I cannot test it my self because now I live in appartement on different island, and it will be costly if I get it and not working after that.

is a used fluke i310s a good alternative ?

Sorry for my English and thanks for any thought.
