Hi All,
I am trying to synchronize one Siglent SDG2122X with another Siglent SDG1025 both connected to Rigol MSO1104Z. I am using the clock out of SDG2122X but when selecting the external clock in the SDG1025 both signals from SDG1025 disappears of the scope screen.
I guess I am making something wrong and any suggestion/advice will be very appreciated.
Regards.

Reason is simple. SDG1000 does not see a valid reference signal.
SDG2000X reference clock output level is too low for SDG1000 reference clock input.
If SDG1000 Ext Ref is selected and it can not find clock it do not work at all.
(you can test it also so that you connect SDG2000X output (Ch1 or 2) to SDG1000 reference input.
Set SDG2kX for sine or square and level 5Vpp (do not exceed 6Vpp). Connect it to SDG1k Ref input. Set SDG1000 for Ext Ref. After then you can see SDG1000 works normally. Also you can adjust this 10MHz and you can see how far it follow this reference and you can also test with 10MHz how low level it still can barely sync. Reliable sync need more, just between 5V - 5.5V)
SDG2000X serie
Reference Clock Output
Amplitude 2 - 3.3 Vpp to HiZ load
Output impedance 50 Ω
Is not directly compatible for this:
Old SDG1000 serie (not X)
Reference Frequency Input
Level need be between 5 Vpp - 5.5 Vpp
Input impedance >5kΩ, AC coupling.

You are absolutely right because following the procedure that you suggested I achieved the synchronizatiobn with 10MHz and 5Vpp (minimum is 4Vpp) from SDG2122X.
Thank you for sharing your experience and my best regards.
