| Tablets: Micsig vs Owon |

Micsig is quite popular amongst tablet scopes' estimators, while Owon is not. Same 8" 4:3 screen, same price, more or less. It seems to me that Owon has some advantages. Consider that Micsig is often criticized for not having statistics and pass/fail. Owon has them both (see picture below). And, it's 12-14 bit modes can be somewhat useful, even with the known limitations. I have no information about fan noise (if they have a fan) and other aspects. |

You can find the answers and get a good insight in the Micsig threads. and maybe refer to models, as they are not the same.. Micsig has quite a few 8" models ATO, TO & the STO-1000, STO-1000C, STO-1000E, STO-2000C series, .. some have 2 fans if I recall (ATO/TO), and some have 1 bigger fan STO/C/E and the "fan" are off quite a bit of the time, at least in the STO-series here in a colder climate like northern Europe. Some older models run on Linux and the newer models run on Android. |

I don't like that they seem to have abandoned scopes that they have been selling until few months ago. Statistics is basic stuff, some of the handheld scopes for 100$ have it... |
