Just started to update a TDS3054B from 3.36 to 3.41, and at disk 4, it looks like the drive failed... I think the upper read head hangs down (I can't even get the floppy out !), and it refuses to read any data from disk 4.
Now it's switched on and runs... but I won't be able to replace the drive (I've got some spare) while the beast is running... anyone knows whether I can safely shutdown "in the middle" of a FW upgrade ?
(huh... writing the question alone somehow brings bad feelings... :( )
Is there any command(s) I could send via network ? (although I've no clue whether network is configured and there's no way to get out of the FW update screen...)
Any ideas, suggestions ??? ;-

well... I saved my day by doing what I probably shouldn't have been doing... change the drive while the scope was online... :palm:
but I'd have hated to have a bricked TDS3054B because of floppy drive failure just at the last disk...
